Arc Freeborn County serves people of all ages who have developmental disabilities (Mild/Moderate Mental Impairment, Moderate/Severe Mental Impairment) and their families. Arc provides advocacy, support for families, community awareness and recreational programs.

Arc’s main focus in Freeborn County is to provide supervised leisure time activities in community settings and in Arc’s recreation room. Many programs exist including:
q Arc sports
q Special Olympics
q Camperships
q Teen Club
q Year round programs for ages 10 and older
q Summer program for children ages 6 years and up.

Arc’s recreation room is open several times a week for a variety of activities including: bingo, meals, craft classes, movies, pool, card and board games and more. Arc also has several all member activities each year such as: dances, potlucks, picnics and trips.
